Forms can be scanned using the Acquire command from Images menu.
If before to use this command was open an application definition file (.rdf) using the Open command form File menu, then the acquired images will be stored in the direcotory defined in the application and each file will have the same number of pages as on template form.
If no file was open then the acquired images will be stored in the predfined temp direcotory and each file will have one page. If you have to create multipage files you can use the Acquire and Append command from Image menu to append pages to selected file.
The created files will be TIFF compressed files and will be named with a counter automatically incremented by the system, starting from RECO0000.TIF and skipping existing files.
To choice the scanner you can use the Select Scanner command form File menu.
The scanning parameters can be defined using the scanner dialog provided by the TWAIN driver. To get good result you should use at least 200 DPI, or better 300 DPI. Please refer to scanner documentation to get more informations on scanning parameters you can use with your hardware.
The forms scanning in Workgroup Reader version is executed using the Input Station.
